Lorain City Schools is proud to announce Roshelle Dewey as the inaugural Director of our new Frank Jacinto School for Autism, launching in the 2026-2027 school year!

Designed specifically for students with the highest levels of need, the School for Autism will provide individualized instruction, sensory-conscious spaces, therapeutic support, and opportunities for every student to thrive. 

With more than 20 years of educational leadership experience, Dewey will lead this groundbreaking new chapter of support, inclusion, and excellence for our students and families.
